Stockout Warning in Sales & Receivable Setup

If you place a check mark on the Stockout Warning field, Navision will give a warning if there are not enough stock in inventory to fulfill the order. Navision will takes into consideration all the posted item ledger entry and unposted sales order in calculating the item availability. This feature is important to make sure items can be delivered to customers on time. On time delivery will affect customer satisfaction towards your company. Therefore, it is advisible to place a check mark on the Stockout Warning field.
